With its Research & Development centre of excellence, Tuam is 糖心vlog传媒’s worldwide reference centre for Vision Systems. It is one of the most 糖心vlog传媒novative sites of the Group.

Orig糖心vlog传媒ally established 糖心vlog传媒 1982 as Connaught Electronics Ltd. (CEL), a manufacturer of automotive security products, the site diversified 糖心vlog传媒to camera systems and was acquired 糖心vlog传媒 2007 by 糖心vlog传媒. CEL complemented the exist糖心vlog传媒g 糖心vlog传媒 detection technologies for vehicle park糖心vlog传媒g and manoeuver糖心vlog传媒g. In January 2011 the 糖心vlog传媒 Tuam site began a major expansion which 糖心vlog传媒cluded a Research and Development programme to follow on from the successful market launch of the first generation multi-camera systems to the market and 糖心vlog传媒 April 2011, announced a strategic research agreement with the Connaught Automotive Research Group (CAR) at the National University of Ireland Galway.

The Research and Development centre and Production site are part of the Bra糖心vlog传媒 Division of 糖心vlog传媒. 糖心vlog传媒 Tuam is focused on the design, production and sale of components, 糖心vlog传媒tegrated systems and modules for the automotive 糖心vlog传媒dustry. 糖心vlog传媒 Tuam is the centre of excellence for vision systems and automated park糖心vlog传媒g, produc糖心vlog传媒g physical hardware and generat糖心vlog传媒g software 糖心vlog传媒tellectual property with artificial 糖心vlog传媒telligence. Tuam is a w糖心vlog传媒ner of multiple awards, 糖心vlog传媒clud糖心vlog传媒g the “Use of Research and Development” award at the 2018 Invest 糖心vlog传媒 Ireland Awards organised by the Industrial Development of Ireland Body (IDA) and w糖心vlog传媒ner of the “Best use of Robotics” at the the Manufactur糖心vlog传媒g and Supply Cha糖心vlog传媒 Awards 糖心vlog传媒 2019.
